FAMILY THERAPY

Family therapy focuses on communication skills and other tools to treat more than one family member in session.

The goal is to help the family improve interaction and resolve conflicts more easily.

Family therapy suggests that one member’s role affects the system as a whole.  Families may benefit from therapy to address relationships among family members, parenting challenges, entrenched power struggles, separation, divorce, and blended family issues.

Family therapy can reduce conflicts and improve family functioning. Family therapy helps to change patterns and access strengths with the family.
