Raúl is a bilingual, Spanish-speaking psychoanalytic psychotherapist. He is a certified psychoanalyst from the Center of Modern Psychoanalytic Studies in New York City.
He is qualified to provide clinical supervision to social workers in the states of New York and New Jersey who are in the process of working towards obtaining their LCSW.
He is also a licensed psychotherapist in the States of New Jersey and New York.
In his private practice, he works with adults and adolescents. He frequently works with individuals needing help with adjusting to significant life changes (i.e., in relationships, career and school).
More specifically, some of the common presenting problems that he works with are: coping with anxiety and stress, panic attacks, depression, self-esteem, LGBT issues.
He also has extensive experience working with families who have conflicts with their adolescent in helping them communicate effectively.
